The end of the 2 man show?

When getting off the train this morning I noticed that the little coffee place in the station has closed down. this was a sad moment for me because it was this little place that i had gone to on my fist day at work. i was a nice little place with the same 2 people there no matter what time of the day you called in. i have to admit that i haven't been to it in a while but i was still sad to see it go. in these tougher economic times i suppose that the first ones to go are going to be the 2 man shows of this world. but i think that it is important that we do as much as we can do ensure that the 2 man shows... the coffee places... the corner shops... what ever don't disappear. don't get me wrong i am not one of these militant anti globalisation nuts but i do think that the world would be very boring if all that we had was the big boys.

The Beginning of Time according to CB

A great man once said… If I could just say a few words… I’d be a better public speaker! I was always told that it’s good to start off with a joke. Here is my attempt at blogging. The idea of having a blog fascinates me, why do people blog? Why do people read them? What make a good one? Is it something that you can learn or is it something that you are born with? Or can it be both? If you happen to be a good writer does that meant that you will a good or successful blogger? I like the idea of the free flow of information, and the little guy getting control of (at least a section) of the media. But I must admit, as a business student I am also interested in the changes that it has already brought about and the changes that will no doubt be brought about in the future, and the uses that it might have. I have decided that the best way is to learn by doing. If you think that it is interesting or have an opinion on it please let me know. I have to admit I am unsure if anyone will bother to read this, but sure we'll see... And so the life and times of CB begins!
